Power through Partnership

Plymouth University

12th – 14th September 2012

Join around 250 enterprise educators and practitioners at the International Entrepreneurship Educators Conference – the premier national and international conference on enterprise and entrepreneurship education.

This 7th annual conference, IEEC2012, will take place in the stunning coastal city of Plymouth in the South West of England and the theme will be:

'Power through Partnership'

In a rapidly evolving landscape many Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Educators find themselves working with, or alongside, practitioners and organisations with shared but not identical agendas to our own. These partners include Careers Services, Commercialisation Teams, Postgraduate Skills Specialists, Start-up Incubators, and all manner of external organisations in the private, public, and third sectors. At IEEC2012 you will learn about the best of those partnerships and collaborations and have an opportunity to engage with the discussions and debates sparked by our keynote and interactive session presenters.

Within the overall theme of Power through Partnership there will be a mix of plenary talks and parallel sessions focusing specifically on:
• Achieving through partnership
• International best practice
• Social enterprise
• Demonstrations of teaching practice
• Use of technology
• Research-informed practice
Also, for the first time ever, day one will include a facilitated ‘Unconference’ session to enable the entire audience to address key questions, set the participatory tone for the event and get people talking to each other from the outset.
