What Works?

Coventry University
7-9th September 2011

The 6th Annual International Entrepreneurship Educators Conference ‘IEEC2011’ will explore the most critical theme currently facing all those who create entrepreneurial outcomes in others: 'What Works?'

IEEC2011 will develop the debates from last year’s conference (IEEC2010 Concordat) in order to explore ‘What Works?’ within the current funding climate.   All key speakers, VIP guests and all session submissions will be invited to explore the core conference theme to determine:

  • What works?
  • Why it works?
  • How do you know that it works?

Join over 200 educators to explore these themes within core contexts of:

  • Engaging students
  • Curriculum design and delivery
  • Supporting business start-up
  • International collaboration
  • The entrepreneurial institution

The mix of plenary talks and parallel sessions with be punctuated by networking and ‘unconference’ time to allow space to reflect and explore ideas in a stimulating environment.

The full 3-day conference package includes a networking buffet on the Wednesday evening at the Coventry Transport Museum where you will discover the fascinating story behind the development of road transport from the earliest cycles to land speed record breakers.

On the final evening you are invited to attend the spectacular Gala Dinner and National Enterprise Educator Awards ceremony taking place in the fabulous, iconic setting of Coventry Cathedral.

Within our changing environment, educators recognise their need to evidence their activity and demonstrate ‘what works’ as well as clearly understand the impact their work will have upon their students.  The challenge of IEEC2011 is to deepen our practice by sharing the deep underpinnings of our success and exposing areas the areas of activity which need development through our collective wider consideration and reflection.
